Chapel," which is attached to the
Church of St. Louis, King of France
in St. Paul, Minnesota...

was done by Terry Nelson, of
Abbey-Roads! (link:)

Read a post by

the internetmonk, (link)...

questioning the necessity of the
Catholic Church's practice of
requiring the proper instruction
before receiving Holy Communion.

Sir, Christ went to school, too. He
received the necessary instruction
required according to tradition, be-
fore He became a Rabbi.

Did you require instruction before
becoming the minister that you are?
Or did you just walk in unprepared?

&

I would have posted this comment
on your blog, but in order to do so,
you have made it a requirement that
one must be properly registered.

Just to comment to you!

Why should less be required for
Communion with Christ?

By Barbara Beyer Malley

& illustrated by Leo Harrington.

Mrs. Malley has kindly informed me

that her activity book for children,
Read Me a Rhyme, Please, (link) is
now available:) Right on schedule!

It is a compilation of her mother's
wonderful poems, as well as follow-
up questions & activities that will
help children with reading compre-
hension & vocabulary- & a useful
tool for teachers & caregivers that
is educational, fun, & a wonderful
introduction to the delightful verse
of Ernestine Cobern Beyer, whose
poetry I have loved since I was a
kid.

Included is a picture of Barbara
reading to her great-grandson, &
a list of her past publications...

Following is some poetry by
Ernestine Cobern Beyer from
my archives... enjoy!

I've never seen

his show- but I know he got
this right. (link)

Amen, Mr. Stewart.

I don't quite understand

the new beta blogger
system...

I 'm happy to see that Merle
from
Herons Nest (link) is back,
but I don't think that I can
comment there to say hello.

Well, glad that you're back,
Merle. Your blog & posts are

fine, as always.

As far as the new system goes,
hopefully I'll figure it out one of
these days!

"Open Your Hearts to My Son."

Another work of art
by silhouette artist
Dan Paulos.
from
Trinity Stores.(link)

Heard this week

that one of this blog's
favorite blogger's is temp-
orarily leaving to write a
book- which is very happy
news.

However, she is also leaving
because she needs necessary
surgery- which is, while nec-
essary, not happy news at
all.

Her two blogs, one of which
I used to stomp on in my way-
caffeinated highs- (& I was
always graciously received)
will be temporarily manned
by someone else- one of them,
anyway.

Many prayers for you, Mrs.
Brown. & until you get back,
this blog is going to "clap" for
you- by alternatingly linking
to your two blogs,

Flying Stars, (link)
&
The Blog of the American

Chesterton Society,
(link)

in a "link-a-day" venture. You

will see an extra heart in the
corner of each post- little
'hugs' for you, until you get
back.

Can't wait, Mrs. Brown!

Thanks, too, to Mr. L.

of Catholic bloggers:)

Many thanks for accepting
me as a member- but I'm
so amateurish, the badge &
blogroll are proudly displayed
below- rather than the side-
bar where I'd rather have
them...

'cause I'm really stinkin' at
linkin'~

I look forward to checking
out the blogs of fellow mem-
bers...

And I do thank you again,
Mr. L!

A lotta thanks!

to BMP from Christus Vincit (link)
for the very kind mention of this
blog during his latest podcast. (link)

The CV podcasts are very enjoyable-
they're a mix of informative com-
mentary on the liturgy & music of
the Mass- and they're fun! There's
even a leprachaun who helps out
during each show:)

& it's permanently linked on the
right for anyone who might like to
listen while they surf.

My many thanks again, Mr. BMP!

Two expected items:)

Finally!

Yay!

The book is on its way~

:)

& the next issue of
