Dear Barbara,

Just in case you stop by here again,
I received your note - I sent you two
emails this past week from my other
account as well, so I guess you didn't
get them either...

I will write, but just wanted to let you
know ASAP that I think your idea is an
excellent one! Your mom and her work
were honored in D.C. back in 1972 -
there's no reason her enchanting poetry
shouldn't be delighting the children who
reside there now...

I will write to you soon - please keep
me apprised, too!

I posted a comment but it didn't appear to go through. I sent you another one on this blog a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what I'm doing incorrectly.

Okay, I should have checked the anonymous box. To answer your snailmail letter, I sent a manila envelope on Aug. 24th containing letters to the sisters and their mom. I haven't received a reply. It may be that someone intercepts their mail for secuirity and other reasons. My request may have been regarded as exploitive and discarded.

I wrote you another message on this blog a couple of weeks ago but didn't check the anonymous box as I apparently should have.

I'm so relieved to know you are okay even if your computer is anything but.

Love and a big hug!

Hello Jeeves Jr!

It's so good to hear from you! Yes, snail mail takes a bit longer, but at least it's reliable. =)

Well, you may still get an answer - how very exciting that your mom's work could be back in our nation's capital over thirty-five years after she was honored there with the National Penswoman Award...

Keep me posted, please. And thank you so, so much for writing, too!

Lotsa hugs n *K*s,
rhapsody
