:)! ! !
Well, am back from
the conference/school
event...
It was wonderful- I
actually got to speak
with a couple of my
heroes!
(Hint: One of them is
mine & my mom's favor-
ite biographer, who most
kindly signed a book for
her:)
The other gentleman not
only really nice, but very
funny!
Met others of all ages- a lot
of young people- all friendly
and helpful- plus I got to
pester the host in the hallway,
which was a lot of fun, poor
guy!
Understandably, not every-
one that will attend the June
conference could make it-
but this was still an amazing
event!
The cell phone rang at the
wrong times- but I did tell
'Better-half' to call if he had
to. He assisted with school
events- and had a great
time, too!
A most blessed time for
us all!

An Easter Poem
A gift for us from Barbara
Malley, who kindly granted
me permission to post the
poetry of her mother, an
award-winning poet. I have
posted before that the poem,
"The Laughing Willow," is one
of my favorites from childhood.
It will be found in a new book
for children that Ms. Malley is
working on called, "Read Me a
Rhyme," which will be available
later this year.
What follows is a poem about
another tree, a new 'old favor-
ite'...
And so touchingly beautiful, I
believe even the happy willow
would finally weep...
