What lovely images. I love Japanese art and culture. Thanks for the link. I wonder if the monastery is Japanese style - I've always thought 'sukiya' architecture as well as Japanese gardens - especially Zen style gardens - would be very Carmelite.

I like the different Madonnas she has done, also. Was trying to post some pix of another artist recently, but I think there is a block on her work that keeps it from being uploaded- although I do have some of her work in my archives. I went up a directory to the main gallery link (http://www.udayton.edu/mary/gallery.html). Wow! They must have hundreds of different painting posted!

But my favorite is still the Japanese gallery.
