for my b'day earlier this year, but was told
to wait as they were coming out with newer models...
I'm not sorry I didn't wait, but they do have one now
that has a color screen - just in time for Christmas =)
I'm really likin' mine. Plus, this is the cover I got,
with its quote from G. K. Chesterton: "Literature is a
luxury; fiction is a necessity."

I think I'll always prefer a paperback to an e-book. I know there are lots of good reasons for going electronic, but I just don't think I can adjust.
Hi Thomas -
Well, some people do feel exactly as you do. I can't say it bothers me too much, because the cover opens like a book so you still feel as if you're holding an actual book. I also like the adjustable font and font size - when the light is bad I just make the type bigger which makes it easier to read...
But I would miss the beautiful illustrations in a children's book. I didn't read up much on the color version, but I assume such things would be really nice.
