An old friend of mine used to babysit Dickens' great-great-grandchildren.

Omigoodness!

Charles Dickens did have a large family -

I used to work with someone who bore a striking resemblance to Dickens - when I mentioned it, he said there was a possibility he was a distant relative - & that his middle name was Dickens...

Although he claimed no possession of his writing abilities whatsoever:)
