No problem- it's a very good one:)
I think right now betas can only comment on betas, and non-betas can only comment on non-betas. A lot of blogs are turning on Anonymous Commenting as a work-around.
Actually, i am able to comment on beta and i use haloscan for my comments and normal blogger. So that blows that theory out of the water! I do know that many bloggers who switched to beta have had a gazillion amount of troubles. Mostly losing their entire blogs :(
