Interesting article posted
by Doctor Thursday on the
Purkinje Tree.
I had never heard of it-
but for those of you familiar
with Genesis, it is a fascina-
ting observation.

Great puns!
"knowledge of a tree" - that's good.
"fascinating observation" - that's very good.
I have to mention another GKC quote , which some believe is the "mission statement" of the famous "Chesterton University" - however, its charter expressly forbids "mission statements" and such drivel. (A mission statement for a "university" is a contradiction anyway. How can anything call itself a "university" and not be universal?)
(Ahem!) So, here's the GKC quote:
"...the object of my school is to show how many extraordinary things even a lazy and ordinary man may see if he can spur himself to the single activity of seeing. "
-- GKC, Tremendous Trifles, 6
Hi Dr. T!
Thank you- but the second, while deliberately accurate, was unintentionally punny!
It is a VERY interesting scientific observation...
That the tree can only be seen by light- & how it might relate to Eden, where they had had the Light of His Presence.
You & Chesterton seem to be onto something!
That GKC quote sounds familiar... have to go check something now.
:)
FOUND IT!!!
(I knew I'd seen it somewhere before:)
